One of my favorite fruits for all seasons and all times are figs. You don’t need to wait long for this fruit to enjoy the taste and the watery texture; they can be found during the whole year. Many types of fig trees yield fruits twice and thrice a year. Therefore, you can enjoy fresh fruits whenever you want.

The types that do not yield year-round can be preserved for later consumption. Drying fruits is a solution for all people and can be applied to different types of fruits.

Whereas fruits such as mangos, bananas, apples, oranges…etc, can only be dried with a dehydrator, figs can be easily sundried. They also last longer than any other type.
